District 17 has licensed Patty Tucker’s Bridge In a Day (BIAD) program. This program is a great starting place for new or returning players. The new students start with the introductory program which can be held in one day or 2 or 3 short lessons. New and Returning players benefit by participating in the ten lesson series on bidding and play. The ten lessons advance beginners knowledge and help returning players gain confidence. The District 17 Board of Directors is dedicated to the advancement of bridge, providing incentives for its educators as well as informational resources and pathways for player advancement.
Initiatives include:
- D17 Grant Program now redefined to focus on beginner education and membership building.
- The All-Western NiteClub providing a safe and fun environment for players with less than 200 masterpoints.
