First Teacher Round Table at Tucson: Wednesday April 8 at 7:30 am in the Saguaro restaurant

Hello Bridge Teachers and Bridge education influencers!

This year we are starting a new approach to support Bridge teachers in District 17. At the next two District regionals (Tucson & Denver), we are organizing an informal breakfast get-together for all of the individuals who are bridge teachers or players interested in Bridge Educational offerings in the District.

The idea behind this is to create a sense of community among the group and share which tools or techniques are being successfully used.

The first get-together will happen at the Tucson Regional on Wednesday April 8 at 7:30 am in the Saguaro restaurant in Tucson University Park Marriott. Jack Shoemaker, the tournament chair, has reserved space in the restaurant for our group. You can bring your own breakfast or order prior to our meeting.

It would be fantastic if you can come prepared to describe one tool or technique that you have used successfully to:

1) Attract new students
2) Keep them coming back for lessons
3) Successfully transition them to playing in a local club

Please let Sharon Smith know if you plan to attend so we can make sure we have enough tables for the group. If these roundtables have value, we will continue them at future regionals.
