DISTRICT 17 BOARD NOMINATIONS DUE AUGUST 31 ST !
Two D17 Board of Director seats are up for election this fall:
- Mesa, Unit 351, Kitty Larson is not running for reelection.
- Colorado at large and Wyoming, Units 359, 364 ,421 and 422. The incumbent, Sharon Smith, is standing for reelection.
The term of office to serve on the D17 Board is three years, commencing on January 1st. District board members are elected by unit boards. This cycle’s election must occur before November 1, 2026.
If you are interested in running for one of these board positions, you must be an ACBL member in good standing and a member of the unit(s) that you are seeking to represent on the D17 Board. Candidates must submit a Statement of Declaration, short bio, and why you are interested in serving to the D17 Election Secretary, Kitty Larson ([email protected]) and to the President(s) of the respective Unit(s) before August 31, 2026.
